Change notification settings

Choose which optional ClaySquad notification emails arrive in your inbox.

  1. Open your preferences

    Open Profile & Settings and choose Preferences & notifications.

  2. Choose optional community email

    Use Send optional community emails as the master switch. When it is off, optional activity emails stop. Account, security, and moderation emails still arrive.

  3. Review the four email categories

    When the master switch is on, choose Squad conversations, Following, Squad participation and changes, and Connections, relationships, and invitations.

  4. Review connection acceptance settings

    Under Connections you can allow or refuse connection requests, private squad invitations, and squad alerts from connections. Those controls stop the ask itself, not only the email.

  5. Save settings

    Choose Save settings to apply the changes.

  6. Check in-app notifications

    Turning off optional email does not remove in-app notifications, badges, or real-time updates. Open Notifications to review those messages.
